CURRICULUM INTENT

September 2021 has seen the exciting introduction of our new Curriculum by-the-sea. Teachers have been working hard to continue to ensure pupils’ learning voyages through Anchorsholme Academy are as exciting and relevant as possible. We look forward to continuing on our journey with you.

INTENT

Set sail with us on a learning adventure and create waves for years to come…

Our curriculum by–the-sea fosters a sense of belonging and the desire for our school crew to be curious, confident, communicative and collaborative learners. Our intent is that ALL children disembark our school as resilient, motivated lifelong learners with high aspirations, and as the captains of their future. Curriculum by-the-sea adapts with changing tides to ensure it remains a curriculum fit for the 21st century and beyond.

Pupils are encouraged to take the helm and the crew (teachers and parents) will help navigate Anchorsholme Academy’s latest recruit on a voyage of discovery!

At Anchorsholme Academy our curriculum fosters a sense of belonging and the desire for our school family to be curious, confident, communicative and collaborative learners. Our intent is that children leave our school as resilient, motivated lifelong learners with high aspirations for their future.
