Curriculum Intent
September 2021 saw the exciting introduction of our new Curriculum by-the-sea. Teachers are working hard to ensure pupils’ learning voyages through Anchorsholme Academy are as exciting and relevant as possible. We look forward to continuing our journey with you.
In May 2024 we launched a new exciting curriculum page to highlight our Curriculum-by-the-sea in more detail. For more information, please click on this link.
Our curriculum by–the-sea fosters a sense of belonging and the desire for our school crew to be curious, confident, communicative and collaborative learners. Our intent is that ALL children disembark our school as resilient, motivated lifelong learners with high aspirations, and as the captains of their future. Curriculum by-the-sea adapts with changing tides to ensure it remains a curriculum fit for the 21st century and beyond.
Pupils are encouraged to take the helm and the crew (teachers and parents) will help navigate Anchorsholme Academy’s latest recruit on a voyage of discovery!
At Anchorsholme Academy our curriculum fosters a sense of belonging and the desire for our school family to be curious, confident, communicative and collaborative learners. Our intent is that children leave our school as resilient, motivated lifelong learners with high aspirations for their future.
